Texas Tech University Press joins Chicago Distribution Center for book ordering and fulfillment

Texas Tech University Press is pleased to announce that, effective Sept. 1, 2011, our order fulfillment, shipping, returns, and billing will be handled by the University of Chicago Press's Chicago Distribution Center. We are pleased to join CDC's distinguished list of client presses.

For wholesalers, bookstores, and libraries:

Please place your orders through the Chicago Distribution Center. (CDC is set up to receive orders via EDI, from trading partners who wish to submit orders via this method.)

For individual customers:

We welcome your online orders, as usual, via our secure e-commerce site at www.ttupress.org. Not only will you qualify for a generous discount on every book you purchase, you will now benefit from CDC's lower shipping charges as well.

Alternatively, you may order our books from CDC by phone at 800.621.2736.

Walk-in customers may purchase and pick up books occasionally at the TTUP office in Lubbock, but we will no longer maintain full case quantities. Customers may want to call ahead to check availability.

For authors:

Authors wishing to obtain quantities of their books, for personal use or resale, should contact TTUP Customer Service in advance to coordinate shipping, billing, and delivery details. We will be glad to forward author orders directly to CDC.

It has always been important for authors planning book events to notify us well in advance. In order to ensure timely delivery of books for an event, authors should make sure the venue places an order with CDC no less than three weeks in advance. Please contact TTUP Marketing, as well, if you are planning an event; we can help coordinate publicity and book delivery details.
