Women Writing the West has announced that Child of Many Rivers by Lucy Fischer-West is a finalist for a 2006 WILLA Literary Award in the category of memoir/essay. The WILLA Awards recognize the best of 2005 published literature for women's stories set in the west. Chosen by professional librarians, historians, and university affiliated educators, the winning authors and books will be honored at the 12th Annual WWW Conference, October 20-22, 2006, in Colorado Springs.
